Why the curing room matters more than most buyers realise

After dry lamination, the adhesive between film layers has not fully cross-linked. If the reel is slit and converted too early, bond strength stays low and the finished bag can delaminate in the field — often only after it has already reached the customer.

Our curing room holds laminated reels at controlled temperature and humidity for the full cure cycle specified for each adhesive system. Reels are tracked by lot so nothing is released early.

Only after curing is complete do we test bond strength in the laboratory and release the reel to slitting and bag making. It is an unglamorous stage of the process, and it is one of the most reliable predictors of whether a flexible pack will perform.
